Okudo

Store Introduction

Real food is something that a real adult wants. Our chefs are sure to satisfy your seasoned taste.

Even though we are in the middle of the downtown district, our “hideout” appearance sets us apart from the surrounding hustle and bustle. Traditional Japanese Cuisine (Okudo). The name “Okudo” comes from the “pit” or dirt floor area that the kamado (a traditional cooking stove) is placed and cooking is done.
Enjoy one of our small private rooms for two or you can sit across from one of our chefs in a private counter space that seats five. Perfect for entertaining guests, dates or just a nice, quiet meal. Enjoy the cuisine charbroiled by our expert chefs using binchotan (a traditional charcoal of Japan).
Choice wagyu from Yuya, Yamaguchi Prefecture and nodoguro (rosey seabass) from Nagasaki Prefecture are just a few of the specially selected items that our owner and general manager traveled around the country to find.
